The Bookseller: Books Spotlight features The Kingdom of Tigers
The December 2025 edition of The Bookseller featured an ESEA Focus, with articles on East and Southeast Asian literature, author spotlights and insights into publishing.
Julie Vuong chose THE KINGDOM OF TIGERS as a featured title for 2026:
(DEBUT) Having established herself as a rising talent in adult fiction, featuring on the shortlist for the Mo Siewcharran Prize and London Library Emerging Writers, Yeoh is setting her sights on the children’s market in summer 2026. The story, about endangered harimau tigers in Malaysia with illustrations by Megan Snyders, will be released just in time for International Tiger Day on 29th July. The author credits her aunt, the Hollywood actor and UN Goodwill Ambassador Michelle Yeoh, who has written the foreword, for the book’s idea.
