Nature Storytime at Camley Street Natural Park
Storytime in the woods! I used to bring my youngest two here for storytimes on maternity leave and we loved it! And my middle daughter fell into the pond at a Family Day. Still keen though!
An interactive nature themed story session for young children, on Mondays in the summer holidays.
Join the London Wildlife Trust to learn about nature through an interactive outdoor storytelling session for young children. Stories will be followed by a nature themed craft activity or habitat exploration.
The sessions are led by a member of the London Wildlife Trust’s Learning & Engagement team (except for Monday 10th August, when I’ll be making a guest appearance!)
Meet at the picnic benches behind the visitor's centre.
No need to book, just join us at the start of the session so as not to miss any of the stories.
This event will run for 5 weeks of the Summer holidays on the following dates:
Monday 27th July
Monday 3rd August
Monday 10th August - featuring The Kingdom of Tigers
Monday 17th August
Monday 24th August
Sessions are aimed at children under 6 years, but all welcome. All children must be accompanied throughout the session by a responsible adult.
This is a free event, but donations are welcome. All profits are invested into London Wildlife Trust’s conservation and education work and the care of its nature reserves.
